Switchboard Live Helping to Set a World Record

Switchboard Live is proud to play a part in the Climate Reality Project, organized by former Vice President Al Gore. The project aims to live stream continuously for 24 hours of “reality” about the Earth’s climate and the dangers it faces.

What makes this project unique is the organizers are inviting the average person to become a “Reality Citizen Producer” and join in by multi-publishing the live stream on their own site and social networks, amplifying the group’s message exponentially. Through Switchboard Live’s technology, the every day person can easily become a super hero for the Earth by live streaming #24hoursofreality.

A World Record

As of this morning, December 4, 2017, almost 700 people, organizations, and websites had signed up to “Be a Voice of Reality”, which will set a world record for the number of online broadcasters working together to multi-publish a live stream.
